The London Duathlon (run, bike, run) provides a welcome opportunity for thousands of people to take part in a multisport event, all without having to get wet. The event offers two different distance options (Fun and Challenge) as well as a team relay and it all takes place in the Royal Park of Richmond. It is the only day of the year that the Park’s roads are closed to traffic and the course is stunning with hundreds of wild deer to add to the thousands of spectators. The event has a special, friendly feel to it as people are cheered on by friends and spectators alike. As with Blenheim, we have a Kids Village with various forms of entertainment for the younger attendees and a great catering village.

  • The largest duathlon in the world
  • 4,000 duathletes competing on the middle Sunday in September
  • Only day of the year Richmond Park is closed to traffic
  • It provides a perfect an alternative for gym goers who are put off by the swim leg in the triathlon
  • Major health and fitness event in the Capital
  • Duathlon -- run, bike, run
  • 2 distances and a team relay event

Six reasons to compete in The London Duathlon:

  1. The event is the only day of the year Richmond Park closes completely to traffic providing a safe and quick course
  2. There is no swim -- which seems to be the biggest turn off of triathlon
  3. To be supported around the course by Royal Deer
  4. To bring family and friends along for a picnic or beer after competing
  5. To get into multisports in a friendly, un-intimidating environment
  6. To end your triathlon season
