Each week we plan to highlight a website that may be of interest, topical, fun, informative or for any other good reason we can think of. If you know of a website that you think falls into this category then let us know at editor@duathlon247.com

The Powerman duathlon series has been around for many years, hence why we've choosen it as Duathlon247's first website of the week. Powerman is a tough, honest series made up of eight duathlons, all of which are non-drafting. The distances vary from an 8k run 53k bike 8k run to the World Championships, held annually in Zofingen, Switzerland, which are held over the challenging distance of 10k run 150k 30k run. Zofingen is not only famous for it's formidable run and bike courses, but for the number of World Champion athletes that have graced the podium since the race began, these have included the likes of: Paula Newby-Fraser, Natasha Badmann, Erika Csomor, Mark Allen and the late Benny Vansteelant to name just a few.

The races are open to all ages and abilities, and the only real requirement, if your planning on doing a Powerman duathlon, is grit and determination. Last week Powerman launched it's new look site, so if you're looking for some tough, but great fun racing go to www.powerman.org

website of the week
