Race 2 in the Big Adventure Store Castle Combe Duathlon Series is just over two weeks away and the current race line up can be viewed at www.dbmax.co.uk.

There's already some top athletes lining up to have a crack at Raf Baugh's course record, including Ian Cardy, Lee Rankin and Phil Holland. In the female race, recent Gower Duathlon winner Nicky Russell will be looking to take Alison Bagnall’s course record.

The second race in this year's three race series is a 5k run, 21k bike and 3k run.

Competitors must race two of the the three races to be in with a chance of winning the Argon 18 frame - final race is the 'Chilly' on November 22nd, which is also the 2009 BUCS Duathlon Champs.

Race kick-off is at 10am and will include chip timing and bike lap splits, with a fastest lap prize for the quickest male and female.
