Joerie Vansteelant wins fourth successive Powerman Austria

With an impressive performance Joerie Vansteelant won in 3:27:16 over the new, longer distance 15.6k/82.4k/7.3k Powerman Austria. From the start the world champion and Powerman Austria record holder maintained his seven minute lead over second placed Anthony Le Duey from France while the third spot went to Andy Sutz from Switzerland.

Vansteelant: "I had good legs today. The new bike course is nice, but really hard. We will see next year what today's time is worth"

Britain's Michelle Parsons took third place in a women's race that was dominated by Sylvie Quittot.
