This week is a big week for the Powerman series as Powerman Zofingen takes place on Sunday. The race has been a long standing event in the series and is known as one of the most prestigious events on the international duathlon calendar. The race has seen many of the world's leading duathletes, and triathletes take part, these have included: Benny Vansteelant, Mark Allen, Paula Newby Fraser, Olivier Bernhard, Natasha Badmann and so many more. One athlete who will be attempting the leg breaking course (the 10k run 150k bike and 30k run is not for the faint hearted) for the first time, is the recently crowned Powerman European Champion, Joerie Vansteelant.

In his latest column Joerie updates us on his latest events, training camps and thoughts ahead of this weekend's Powerman Zofingen.
