This weekend sees a large contingency of British duathletes heading to Concorde, North Carolina, for the ITU World Duathlon Championships. The event really looks set to be a high class one (USAT know how to put on a good event) and the racing looks set to be fast and exciting as the athlete's will experience a once in a lifetime opportunity of racing around Lowe's Motor Speedway.

Great Britain have a history of doing exceptionally well at the ITU World Duathlon Championships, both in the age-group racing and Elite, and we can expect to see the British athletes high up on the medal rankings come Sunday afternoon.
