In his column this month, Duathlon247 columnist, Jez Cox, reflects on where duathlon is at the moment, and where it might go in the future. He suggests that since the ITU duathlon committee's former headman, Clive Faine, left his post, the ITU World duathlon series has dwindled - and following the surprise absence of an ITU World long course Championship this year, many athletes would suggest that it certainly has!

In his frank and candid column Jez sets out to find a solution to help keep duathlon very much on the multisport map and comes up with several solutions that he thinks may just be the answer to the successful future of duathlon.
