The race organisers allabouttriathlons may well have put the LongLeg 5k and 10k start time back to allow runners a bit of a lie in on the Sunday morning  – but not the cyclists!

Yes, the LongLeg event is hosting a sportive on the same day. Supported by Beyond Mountain Bikes ( www.beyondmountainbukes.com ) stockists of road bikes as well as mountain bikes

Roadies can choose between a 65k and 100k route that will take them around, through and over the Surrey Hills. Event Director Rory Macpherson said “Both routes start off nice and undulating and with relatively decent road surfaces. But then towards the end the hills arrive and in parts the roads are akin to Paris – Roubaix ...keep something in the tank for the end”.

Start time is from between 09.00am and 09.30am
